The main producing countries
- in black - grow soybeans in very large amounts. Some
are used for domestic production. Some are exported
worldwide.
The companies
in Malaysia and Thailand import many thousands of metric
tons of soybeans each year. Some are processed into
- food grade products, such as tofu or soybean snacks or
soybean milk
The importers also crush them locally and the end
products are
- soybean oil
- soybean meal.. which is an animal feed

There is a shortage of NON
GMO soybeans and products. In Brazil some producers no
longer offer NON GMO. There is also high demand in Brazil
food processing companies, which means much less product can
be offered for export. |
